Daizen Maeda has said that he was moved by the reaction from the Celtic support as he returned to action. The Japanese attacker’s season appeared to be over after a hamstring injury against Rangers at Ibrox but in typical Maeda fashion, he defied expectations and got himself back fit.
Taking to Twitter/X, Maeda revealed that he was moved by the support from the stands as he made his return to action.
I was moved by the cheers the moment I entered the pitch.
Thank you to all my fans and supporters!
I'm ready for the next game! https://t.co/9y6VO5xxyg— 前田 大然 Daizen Maeda (@M_daizen_1020) May 4, 2024
